Scoliosis – Supporting Asymmetrical Spines

professional looking to deepen your understanding of the condition, this complimentary movement and education session is for you. In this session you will learn strategies support this posture, aiding function and minimising discomfort.

Drawing on her own experience of scoliosis, Amanda will guide participants through a series of breathing and simple movement exercises to increase body awareness. Individuals will learn how to create space and length in tight areas, and how to activate and support weakened areas of the body. The session will provide information on the different elements of scoliosis (no two spines are the same!) and movements to approach with caution. 

By learning how to lengthen and suspend out of the curves and rotation of the spine, participants will be on their way to improved posture and movement mechanics for everyday activities.
