Aligned for Life Pilates has been operating in the Moonee Ponds & Essendon district for over 15 years. During that time the studio has developed a strong reputation with many local allied health practitioners and built a very loyal client base.
Our personalised programs focus on individual postural correction, through a balance of strength & flexibility of the entire body. This enables us to cater to our wide variety of clients including; young girls with scoliosis, older adults, athletes, as well as those with diverse musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
The vast majority of our clients are also long term devotes who realise the Pilates Method is one of the best body conditioning systems ever designed.
Teen Specific Pilates – combines the use of reformer, small apparatus and floor based exercises to target the specific needs of this age group. The group environment also provides a fun, social and supportive atmosphere, to ensure a positive movement experience is had by all. Mum’s & Bub’s – the ideal class to assist new mum’s rehabilitate their body post pregnancy, focusing on pelvic floor and abdominal support and suitable for those with low back pain, pelvic instability or diastasis. Complimentary – Sunday Monthly Matwork – we are opening up the studio to current clients, plus friends, family and the community for group matwork classes. There will be a 10am Progressive/Intermediate & 11am beginners once a month. These classes are free of charge but participants have the opportunity to donate to our charity Headspace, in support of youth mental health.
Kath Banks is the principle instructor of the Moonee Ponds studio and together with her passionate & dedicated staff, provide a warm friendly environment for all clients no matter their age, level or experience.
