Aligned for Life Pilates - Moonee Ponds, offers both group exercise matwork Pilates and studio pilates sessions. Studio pilates sessions involve the use of both traditional and contempory pilates equipment including the reformer, cadillac, wunda chair, barrels and small apparatus. Studio sessions can be tailored made to suit any level and experince for both healthy bodies and those with muscular/joint injuries and conditions. Group matwork classes are suitable for those with full function and no chronic injuries.
Studio Operational Hours
Introductory Sessions All clients in studio sessions must begin with two private sessions; one assessment and one programming session. The assessment is used to assess your requirements, from this a program is then written to suit your personal needs. During your programming session staff will ensure you have the best possible pilates experience, ensuring the program is just right for you.
Regular Sessions Once the introductory/private sessions are complete, the client moves into a small group setting of 3-4 clients to one instructor. Each session continues to be individually tailored and fully supervised at all times.

Matwork Classes Matwork classes are classes in small groups designed to tone and strength the whole body, focusing heavily on core strength and flexibility. These classes are designed for healthy bodies and are not suitable for people with cronic injuries or people with back injuries. Those with injuries or condition may be more suited to personalised studio sessions. If in doubt please check with our friendly staff to see if these classes are suitable for you.
Matwork Timetable
Duration: 1hr
Pricing Casual class - $20 10 Visit Pass - $170 (15 week expiry)
Class Description Beginners - designed to teach you the foundations of the Pilates Method & for you to begin your journey to freedom of movement whilst improving strength & flexibility. Participants must complete 10 beginners classes before progressing to the other classes
Mat 1 - An introduction to more progressive repertoire & developed understanding of the concepts & principles of the Pilates method. This class is designed to allow you to work according to your own strength and experience.
Small Apparatus - An introduction to more progressive repertoire whilst including the use of varied small apparatus including theraband, magic circle & the Pilatesstick
Note : All matwork classes are designed for participants free of joint & muscle injuries/conditions such as spinal issues, low back pain or neck pain
Bookings are essential for all classes. Please call the studio on 03 9326 0202 to make a booking.
What to wear Comfortable clothing (without tight waistband or seams) and please bring a clean pair of socks and a towel.
Corporate Matwork and Sports Team classes can be catered for at anytime upon request.
N.B - The Centre is closed on Public Holidays.
