Sat 7th October, 1.30pm-3pm, Aligned for Life Pilates – Moonee Ponds Studio
Are you looking to build your bone density and improve your sense of balance? Or are you an allied health professional or movement professional who provides support to those at risk or with lowered bone density? Then we would like to invite you to attend our Complimentary Movement and Education session.
During this session Rebecca Divjak will take you through a series of exercises designed to increase your bone strength and resiliency, lubricate the joints, enhance posture, and help you take control of your body.
The session will focus on exercises that increase hip, leg, and spinal strength as well as balance to ensure that you can continue to get up and down from the floor and minimise the risk of falls.
If you have osteoporosis, osteopaenia or arthritis, Rebecca will educate you on what to look out for and avoid, especially when participating in group exercises classes.
The Pilates Method provides a full body workout to improve physical strength, mobility (to reach, bend and turn safely) enhance mental awareness and build resiliency to meet the challenges of daily life. The focus on postural awareness works to enhance the loading potential of your bones and helps prevent falls throughout life.
