Sat Aug 5th, 1.30pm-3pm, Aligned for Life Pilates – Moonee Ponds Studio
Are you a new (or not so new) mum experiencing abdominal separation post birth? Or are you an allied health professional or movement professional who provides support to those experiencing diastasis recti? Then we would like to invite you to attend our Complimentary Movement and Education session.
During this session Kath Banks will provide you with a series of exercises to support diastasis and assist building ‘core’ strength. The education and movement experience will focus on exercises that create optimal load to support pelvic floor and deep abdominal function. By creating ‘just right’ exercises with optimal load, we can build strength and support of the appropriate muscles and connective tissue without overloading and exacerbating the condition. Kath will also educate you on what to look out for and avoid, especially when participating in group exercises classes.
Supporting diastasis and increasing pelvic floor function can assist with incontinence and lower back/pelvic pain, as well as improve posture to help you look and feel better.
